About Us

Tasha is Owner/Stylist of The Hudson Hair Salon & Spa with her twin sister Tanya. She is a master stylist who has been designing hair for over 15 years. Tasha began her career at Marvel College in Hamilton, Ontario. Tasha's on going commitment to become more successful in her career, as well as a desire to always increase her standards, has made her who she is today. She continued to educate herself further through several cut, colour and styling classes and has participated in many photo-shoots and off site weddings. Tasha uses her experience and knowledge of future hair trends to keep her clients up to date. With a number of Educational diplomas under her belt whether its an extensive colour course to styling, haircuts, updos and more, you name she's done it! Tasha has achieved the highest qualifications, and has been trained by the top salons and stylists in the world. Tasha's work speaks for it self. Being a extreme perfectionist, her ultimate goal is making her clients 100% happy and giving them exactly what they want. Tasha's main focus is to provide superb service and utilize her education for her clients. Tasha has an astute awareness of fashion trends and style, and is always more than happy to translate this to her clients with a charming, warm personable character. Education, fashion, travelling, style, art and music are what keeps Tasha excited and focused in her career. She is confident in her abilities and enjoys working with her team of stylist’s who share in her passion of the industry.  

With 15 years of industry experience, master colour training at the Toronto Wella Academy, and continuous education, Kristi has stayed current and creative in her career, and wants to give you hair that you love! Not intimidated by curly hair, she will teach you how to care for your hair, and style your curls naturally. Kristi has extensive experience with short hair, and really enjoys tailoring a cut to make it unique to each client. Growing out a short cut? Kristi will work with you to create a plan, so your hair looks great at all stages. Everyone is welcome in her chair!

Melissa (Mel) started cutting/ colouring hair in 2012, and attended the hairstyling program at Georgian College in Barrie. She absolutely loves styling/ colouring hair and making people feel their very best everyday by showing them their hairs full potential! Mel loves everything from styling and cutting to colouring and balayage. She has a passion for knowledge and helping clients to understand what's best for their hair. Her goal in the salon is educating clients about the proper products to use for their hair and helping them find the right colours and cuts that suit the client best. She wants to keep your hair healthy and beautiful, all while putting a smile on your face!

Kirsten is a highly motivated stylist with elite training and professional skills. Originally from Huntsville,  she graduated from Marvel College and also trained in Glasgow, Scotland,  developing her skills in one of  the city’s top, west end salons. Multi-skilled and focused on matching her client’s needs and lifestyles, she is also recognized for her expertise in Wedding Hair. Looking to add to her experience she moved to Vancouver in 2012, where she worked extensively with La Biosthetique at their flagship salon. Kirsten continuously enhances her technical skills and recently joined the education team at Living Proof, satisfying both her  passion for healthy hair and allowing her to share her expertise with others. Kirsten has ably demonstrated her talents and has been recognized as a prominent stylist  for Vancouver’s Eco Fashion Week, as an on-set stylist for TV productions and at numerous photo shoots for breakout and internationally renowned fashion photographers.   She was also “Hair Boss” for Wardrobe Apparel, an emerging boutique  fashion retailer in Vancouver. Having recently moved back to Huntsville, Kirsten is excited to join the amazing team at The Hudson and reconnect with the community where she grew up.

Carissa Recently returned to Muskoka and she brings with her 8 years experience in the beauty industry. Carissa is enthusiastic and inspired to continue to making people look and feel their absolute best by enhancing natural beauty. Carissa is always expanding her knowledge with further education with a variety of different courses. Carissa excels at blonding and balayages and her passion is happy healthy hair. Carissa will be able to discern or guide you to get as close as possible to your hair goals. She loves working in a career that lets her express her love for hair and allows her to meet and connect with new people everyday.

Born and raised in Milton, Ontario, Madison has recently moved to the Huntsville area. Madison has a passion for everything beauty related including fashion, esthetics, hair and wellness. Working at The Hudson Hair Salon affords Madison the opportunity to surround herself with extremely talented women who possess the same passion and drive to succeed in the field they love. Madison's passion for beauty is matched only by her love of nature. Madison has completely embraced the outdoor lifestyle since moving to the Muskoka area and enjoys spending time with her family atv-ing, fishing, hiking or swimming and hopes to embrace the cold winters by learning to ski.
